2can Print and Design are offering our customers the opportunity to capture the CO2 emissions from their printing orders by planting native woodland, right here in the UK, through the Woodland Trust and the Woodland Carbon scheme.
So How Does It Work?
  • When you place your printing order we always elect to capture the carbon from the manufacture and distribution of the paper involved
  • The amount of CO2 generated in the production and delivery of the paper for your order is calculated
  • All Carbon Capture charges will be paid to the Woodland Trust who will plant woodland at one of their accredited woodland creation sites in the UK
Through our continual release of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere our planet is warming up and we’re experiencing more extreme weather events with effects on the seasons, wildlife and food production.

Yet trees are nature’s most effective tool in helping to cool down our planet. They naturally absorb and remove harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the atmosphere helping to cleanse and purify the air. Call it global cooling. And that’s one of the reasons why the Woodland Trust encourages individuals and businesses to help us plant more trees and create new woodland, but to do it right here in the UK.

Through our Woodland Carbon scheme you can reduce your individual or company carbon footprint by locking up your carbon emissions through trees. Our carbon projects are managed to the highest standard and are registered to the Government’s accreditation scheme, the Woodland Carbon Code.By turning your carbon into woodland you’ll be doing your bit for the environment and, at the same time, helping us create thriving new pockets of woodland to benefit wildlife and people alike.

How It Benefits You
Environmental issues are becoming more and more important to organisations and individuals of all sizes and a carbon reduction strategy often provides a commercial advantage including:

  • Providing a reduced carbon solution for you and your business
  • A tangible demonstration of your company’s or individuals responsible approach to the environment
Woodland Carbon is an accredited, award-winning carbon removal scheme that is operated under the Government’s 2011 Woodland Carbon Code.

Organisations looking to reduce their environmental impact and mitigate their carbon emissions can fund tree planting with the Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. It is estimated that 25m2 of native British woodland captures and stores at least 1 tonne of CO2.
